The poor people who had to use the depot's inside the gondola 1st had to queue for the Gondola to get in the depot, once having collected their skis they had to rejoin the gondola queue.
Ulen had locked the entrance by the ski road as cheeky Russians were pushing in. Someone will get seriously hurt before long.
I witnessed one kid being trampled one, several more crying and one Russian guy starting a fight with one of the two security guys.
ULEN, sort out this mess, before you kill Bansko!!!
The Russians & Greeks ski here all season. The only saving grace is that due to the bad snow condition all of the Bulgarians have stayed away, otherwise the queues would have been truly horrendous.
its always busy on a sunday morning this is due to most tour opporators working from sat to sat so everyone and his granny and dog arrive on the same day, problem also being that you have to meet the rep at your hotel in the morning to get you tokens for pre paid gear then they trek everyone up to the gondla at the same time. its like rush hour on the london underground. best advise take your own skis and get up there early, otherwise its the long old que, but I believe its only that first ...
