Chepelare

i've got an apartment in Pamps, so know the place very well, i am ashamed to say after 15 ish holidays to the area i still have never skied chepelare!

is it worth a trip and does the pamps lift pass cover Chepelare or do you need to buy a new one?

To answer your question.....

Yes - Chepelare is a must to ski, and well worth the short trip.

And no - the Pamporovo lift pass does not cover Chepelare.

Lift passes can be purchased at the kiosk next to the lift. For 5 uses prices are 25 lev for adults and 15 for kids. You do get 5 lev back when you return them. Alternatively you can buy full day passes at 35 lev and 25 for kids. The runs are long between 5/6 kms and wide.

Hi julian

I can answer this exactly - we too have an apartment in pamps and have been comming three times a year for the last six and have never been to chepelare!

UNTIL TODAY THAT IS, :-)

All i'll say is that i'm now going to stand in the corner for the evening and think about what i have not been doing all this time!!!
I have a new fave place in the world and will just say its like going on holiday on holiday if you know what i mean :-)

I must go with PSP on this.
I love Chepelare, Yes, the wife is from the village
If you want to try Chepelare for a change from Pamporovo go and do it. its a great place to ski. Last season when Pamp's was packed, we were the only one's there.
Pete has been to Chepelare and I think he loves it

Pete - I'll have a word with 'the boss' and get back to you - I have to say that I would like to get up to Pamporovo if possible just to catch up with a few people and have a look generally (not been up since last winter!)
