Hotel Rila was fine for us and our 7 year old. There were secuity guards at the entrance and patrols were visible. Layout was good too and balcony was safe but chilly. Pool area was ok but you need to be aware of thefact that no life guard is available. We always felt safe in Borovets.

Cleaners are very good with messy rooms and I have never had anything stolen from the rooms.
