There are some very good runs in Borovets. The situation would be much better if they learnt how to look after them and also the lift system. Rila 4 man chair out of action for 3-4 days because of a bearing???? Lack of snow is just an excuse.There is real potential there, if only they'd make the most of what they've got. I totally agree Jo/Fiona..why can’t they get those people out! I think they are laughing like dole bludgers in England. They know that they can squeeze every last penny out of tourists, then the EU will bailout the resort with our tax money and they will benefit again. The government should privatise the resorts and I don’t say that lightly after the mistakes are country has made with this.

I have been in bars in Borovets when big men come in with girls on their arms and take all the money out of the tills. I have also been in Alpina when they have been trying to intimidate Amy & Arie for having cheep prices and nicking all their trade.
