Today the weather has been absolutely perfect. You could see right over to Borovets and Bansko.
The skiing conditions were great and this morning was fairly quiet as most tourists have gone home (only Crystal / Thompson UK people left). The slopes do get busy in the afternoon with locals, but this morning was empty.

I got myself a private instructor today - Boran - he's the head of the ski school for Crystal / Thompson guests. It costs 120 Lev for 4 hours but was worth every penny. I took the digital camera so when I get home tomorrow night I'll e-mail some pictures over to Nic to get them put on the website. Sorry I don't have my own website to put them on for you.
Still only managed that Green run, but after we finished, I went up and down the various chair lifts taking lots of pictures for you.
I met Pete again and tonight we are off to the White Hart to meet up with Ally - he should be here by now.
It's been hard work this week and I have now told Pete that I'm handing the task of daily updates over to him. He's said he may get around to checking the board - if we are lucky....
No updates now until I get into work on Monday. I'm off on the Plovdiv trip tomorrow so won't have to hang around until 5.30pm with no lift pass or skis.
I pity the UK people who have gone with Thomson and Crystal/Any TUI.... I travelled with them to the Dominican Republic last summer, and will never use them again!
Sounds like everyone, at the end of your holiday just happy to get home with the memories and waiting to get the photos downloaded or developed.
Must admit the more I hear about Bulgaria the more my appitie for the country grows and more I delight at booking for Bulgaria for the first ever time... I hope on March 13 I am a very happy person with some great memories.
The scenery, snow and resorts, certainly look like they create memories for a lifetime.... Bulgaria - A lifetime ...

What I really want is my nice double bed and my pillow that moulds to my neck and head... is that too much to ask for...
I'll be back on Jan 29th '05 so can't complain at all. It's been so wonderful and so friendly it makes such a difference - and not a ski snob in sight!!!!!
Second - I was in Borovets last year, but Pamps is nicer. With the Perelik and Mourgavets linked by an indoor shopping arcade (including this internet place) I havent needed to go outside at night once. You can even get to the White Hart through the arcade.
please send greetings from me to Pete and Angie and offer him a drink,
you will get it back if we will meet us anytime, hope you have a great time in Bulgaria, also greets to Nic if he is in Pamporovo.
