Hi all,Just a quicker for you lot.My girlfriend and I have skied many times all over the world.This year we thought we would give Borovets a whirl.
My girlfriend is a stickler for 3 main things, as follows:
1)Clean desent taxis
2)Nice quality food
3)believe it or not- decent quality toilet paper provided in the loos.
Are the above to a good standard compared to UK? (Only asking as generally eastern europe has a low standard of living/poor compared to us)
Grateful for advice.

Ive been skiing Kasikstan, the Taxis smell of roses, the food is devine and there is andrex super soft in every loo..but the skiing sucks.
Try Switzerland.

food is excellent, cant coment on the taxis as you can walk everywhere and use the ski bus to get to the slopes. as for the toilet roll take your own and if that is the decided for the holiday tell the young lady to try a different resortcuz you have got a problem with the swiss at the moment did your volvo fials its mot

She should try Bansko, soft paper and self flushing loos at the top of the mountain - what more could a woman want!re: Condtions
taxis are old ladas driven by chain smoking smiley fat guys in leather jackets. or use the horse and carts if you love the smell of horse p*** and s***. but in boro you dont need either
quality food??...hmmm, personally i love the bulgarian food, you never know what it is but always tastes fantastic. apart from deep fried crab sticks..didnt like them.
loo roll...take it with you, failing that a finger and bottle of water
its a great place full of great people and its dirt cheap and ...
