Nice response !!!! (not)The basic facts are that you are wrong. I Have a friend who works in the Irish Embassy in Sophia, who has stated exactly the same as pete. He deals with international trade delegations wanting to invest in Bulgaria. I think he should know !!!!!

The official currency of Bulgaria is the Lev. The Lev exchange is now fixed against the Euro as part of the EU membership process. After EU membership in 2007, Bulgaria will adopt the Euro currency and the Bulgarian Lev will be phased out completely ...

Why is it that people on here year in year out have a laugh and help people out but there is always someone who rocks the boat.Why dont they just pi## off and go bug someone else and it must be way past their bedtime anyway.

Sarah's right Petie.....if I'm not mistaken - I don't think that anyone on this board is a Bulgarian government official and even they won't know what the future holds from one year to the next!SO lets not get too hung up on being so-called Bulgria experts on every subject - apart from the skiing of course!!
