1. The 'new Lift' (gondola) which should be connecting the resort to the New bus station lift will not be built/ready for this winter season.. Planning permission has not been granted by the 'land owners'. This piece of land which runs to the left of the road which runs past Prespa/Rozhen(on left hand side) looking from perelik, is privately owned by more the 100people who all have to sell before it can be built. I hope this Not the case but.. 2. New Ski buses..? (7 someone told me) If this ...

(7 someone told me) If this is true it indicates to me that the new lift will Not be ready this season.. no need for new buses if everyone walks to the centre to take a new lift or the straight to the New bus station lift..? 3. New Pistes.. A new road to access Studenets has been cut from Panorama hotel (access for 4 wheel drives only) They say the old access road which runs up past The BBQ Chevrometo will become a new green run down to the main road junction.. Great if your staying Hotel Orpheus or a 10 min walk to Hotel Pamporovo, Prespa/ Rozhen or resort.. Maybe its a short term answer to the access problem if the new gondola doesnt happen? The Newly resurfaced (Fact) down to Malina from middle station will have Snow cannon installed.. I have heard similar rumours for 12 years so lets wait and see, dont get your hopes up. Gary,Thanks very much for taking the time to update everyone. Gill and I looking forward to seeing you all last week in Jan/1st week in Feb. I would imagine the other bars will be a lot busy now the white hart has gone?

Thanks for that Gary I will have to wait till 2006 too see the changes perhaps the new lift wil be ready by then?!!!!

Cheers, Gary. Good that the green run has had that middle flat section taken out: was OK for skiers, but a pain in the bum for baorders. Not going to be there this year (unless Xmas bonuses are BUMPER!!!), but want to come back when I can.Ed.
P.S. DeeLuxe Royals are just about worn in after a summer on the dendix...

Gary,Sorry it took a while to get back to you. I will indeed see you this winter, I am bringing my girls out for thier first winter holiday on 12th Feb.
If you make it to London, do give me a shout!

Yo Dan! and Jill of course (glad to hear your still going strong) Hope alls well with ya both and glad to hear you be making your presences felt in resort again! I just sarted looking forward to those two wks even more enthusiasm.. I Think.. Too many drunken nights.. Long days at work then late nights on the Razz.. Great! Ive already booked a heavy snow fall so dont worry. regards to er in doors. Cheers.
