Just spotted todays temp on the banskoski website.

Bunderishka....6 Degrees

Shiligarnika.....5 Degrees

Platoto............0 Degrees

As I said yesterday....There be a thaw on the way!!!!

Yes, that is air temperature and the ground temperature is? think about it, takes a while to defrost a freezer, plenty of snow around so for people heading out it could be lovely spring conditions.

will make it very slushy, prob being if temps stay high the rivers melt and start running through the ski runs.

Can I just amend my previous post please, I may have slightly exagerated the 'river' running through the slope remark!!! But there was a slight stream of melting snow across the piste for a few days over Xmas which had to be navigated!!! Thankfully temps dipped again and froze the raging torrent which was then skiable again.

i am with u there denise i going 6th of march too and there will be loads of snow and no running rivers..thats my moto and i sticking to it

Below freezing over the whole mountain today, -8.9 degrees on top....

Let's just hope it stays nice and cold for this and next week forwhen I come out.

I think it would be more unsual for the weather forecasters to actually get the weather right for more than 3 days inadvance. We had 6inches of snow on Saturday night and they managed to totally miss that.
