Crystal Ski, never again!

Don't belive it. Sad
Crystal ski have changed our holiday flight times again Sad
We were going out of Gatwick on the 15th to Plovdiv and arrive in resort about 11ish, but that was moved 3 hrs on. So we paid extra to fly from Birmingham to Sofia and arrive around 11ish. Now just as I'm leaving for Tenerife (from where this is being sent) I get my Bulgaria tickets and you guessed it, they moved this flight 3 hrs on aswell. So No decent flight time, no money back and no compensation. Arrrrrrrrgggggggg!
Can't believe Crystals bully boy attitude to move flights about and they couldnt give a stuff about their customers.
Rant over............
Needless to say I'll never be using them again.
Any comments?

re: Crystal Ski, never again!

It won't be just Crystal people who are booked on that flight, but several other tourists from other tour companies as well.

So, are you going to blame them as well Neutral

re: Crystal Ski, never again!

Ok , fair point guys.
I'm still smarting from this. What has annoyed me the most is the fact that I have had to pay extra for different flights but ended up with the same problem. Yes, alot of other people will be in the same problem as me. But surely as a business, if you have a problem with your supplier you don't pass the problem on to your customer. I don't know what Crysyal could have done (its not their fault), but the attitude from the customer services wasnt good. I would have liked ...

I don't know what Crysyal could have done (its not their fault), but the attitude from the customer services wasnt good. I would have liked them to be sympathetic to the extra money I had to fork out and consider a good will refund at least. It was 'No you can't have any compensation, coz we have only moved the flight 3 hrs (twice)', and 'If you cancel we will not refund any of your money'.

So its time to shut up and lump it I guess.....

re: Crystal Ski, never again!

Understand your frustraiton, it has happened to us in the past and it's no fun.

Seem to be more common on winter flights than summer, but thank God we're not all booked to go to Thailand.

I'm sure all will be forgotten about your delay once you hit them slopes........ as once again you take flight in that Winter Wonderland.

re: Crystal Ski, never again!

My experience with Crystal Ski has also been very less than impressive. Flight times aside I had to change the booking for one of our party twice (a pain I know but, they are there to look after the customer).

They got the change wrong both times and, when going for two weeks only booked flights for a week?????. I then rang 4 times to extend the lift pass and ski hire and got told eachh time it had to be loaded onto the cimputer and would be done and that they would call me back - ...

I then rang 4 times to extend the lift pass and ski hire and got told eachh time it had to be loaded onto the cimputer and would be done and that they would call me back - never happened. When I rang again I finally spoek to Katrina there who advised what I hed requested couldn't be done and that she would have to deal with each part seperately. This would have been fine but, no-one told me and they never called back.

It seems that if you have a simple booking they are fine but, any queries or problems they never call back or sort them out. I have been extremely unimpressed with the service and their response to complaints. I for one wil never use Crystal ever again and will make sure I book early with Balkan to ensure I get my usual 2 weeks (Balkan had sols out of the two weeks I wanted).

re: Crystal Ski, never again!

Thanks for the reality check Pete, quite right, my problem is nothing compared to those in the East....
Youre right. As soon as I get there I will forget all these problems. Not long now anyway. Get back from Tenerife, 1 weeks work then off to Pamps.
Cheers again.

re: Crystal Ski, never again!

Sympathise with the flight timeproblem, it has happened to us with Balkan who also didn't seem to give a stuff - I guess it must be pretty common, although that is no excuse. Anyway we're off tomorrow and won't get into Borovets until after midnight but it doesn't seem to matter now I'm more excited than the kids who have been running around the house all morning with their ski gear on (only 'cos I'm too tight to turn on the heating though Very Happy)

Can't wait Booze Booze Booze Booze

re: Crystal Ski, never again!

e-mail World of TUI customer relations direct from the World of TUI website (TUI own Crystal). Explain what's happened and ask for a refund on the money you paid to transfer the flights.

Crystal are totally inept - remember the problems I was having... one e-mail to World of TUI and all sorted within half an hour. The travel agent (Lunn Poly - also TUI) was embarrased and livid with the whole situation.

Hi HKP

If you have a tan, DO NOT SHOW YOUR FACE IN PAMPS, but there again no one will be able to see it unless...... you ski in shorts and T shirt, now theres an idea. Knowing you we will have brill weather and you will be sunning yourself out the Snez tower.

See you in resort buddy, we are flying through Balkan to Plovdiv (keep my gob shut) but no probs with flight arrive in resort about 9pm, see you on the slopes, i wont be able to miss you will I
