Not sure, but everyone we have spoken to who's been says it's better to take pounds or euros = they have to be crisp and in good condition though.

i was in pamps last week and most places was at 2.60.if you see any of the barstaff they will give you 2.70.they also sell top branded cigs at £10 for 200

Today's rate according to link on this site. Seems to be increasing by the day. You might get 3 Levs to the £1 in a few weeks. When we're all in the Euro you won't have to worry about currency.

Here at the Perelik they are giving 2.6 lev to the pound or 1.75 to the Euro.

So normal the two banks in Borovez give around 2,77 lev a Pound, and 1,94 to the Euro.
