Some basic do's and don'ts in Bulgaria for anybody not having been there before.
1. DO NOT change money with strangers, no matter what rate they may offer you.
2. DO remember if you nod your head to a Bulgarian it means NO and to shake your head means YES.
3. DO NOT ski off pieste or after the lifts have closed - it's easy to get lost until you know the mountains.
4. DO try and make the Ski Instructors show. They will have you in stitches.
5. DO NOT forget to put a beer behind the bar ...

6. DO NOT talk about how good Switzerland is.
7. DO remember it is the responsibility of the uphill skier/boarder to miss the silly twit snowploughing accross the green run right in front of you.
8. DO NOT buy a strange boarder a drink - they will haunt you all week.
9. DO DO DO the Funky Chicken.
10. DON'T sneeze near a snow cannon.
Often the money they will give you will be worthless old style money, they are experts at the rip off and you will be left standing with a handful of monopoly money. They are not frequent in the ski resorts, but beware and please take my advice.
12.dont stand in the middle of kicker landings in the park.
13.dont think its a good idea to slide on your back along ice,after a night of drink with your wallet,mobile and keys in your pockets...................................
