At the Rila, the safes are in reception, it makes sense anywhere to put passports, money etc in a safe. Make sure you get a receipt when you pay for it though as I've heard people say that unless you give in your receipt on the last day, they will charge you again - we never had this problem, but better to be safe than sorry. I think we paid 30l. for the week, but not too sure.
Went to Ibiza with the lads couple of yrs ago. One mate decided to keep money rolled up in socks. He didnt wear the socks and still had money left when he got home...his mum wasked all socks when he got home!...gutted!
When we were in Bulgaria in the summer the Mafia were everywhere. They own most of the hotels in Bulgaria, you can tell they are about from the cars parked outside! Tourists are the ones who are bringing money into their hotels so they are nothing to worry about!
Are you tawkin ta me? I sed " are you tawkin' ta me?
I have not heard anything about the mafia???? Though a friend of mine was offered a Tommy gun ,a pinstripe suit and some black and white shoes for 100 lev.
