HiMy husband and I are going to Borovets and we are staying at the Rila.Its our 25th wedding anniversary so we went for a nice 4 star etc..
Is there a Gala evening at all and will my Husband be required to bring his dinner jacket etc..

thats a bulgarian 4 star jane,which is a english 2 star,,jeans and tshirt will be fine ,you could put a crease down the front of the jeans if you like

Jeans and a t-shirt?Surely the Restaurant has a dress code?
I sincerly hope it is not a "Jeans and t-shirt" Restaurant.

Really sorry but borovets is a very casual place. Are you being serious Jane or are you after a laugh. I was there last week and had a fab time lots of snow but no DJsre: Dinner jacket

I booked this pm.The Travel agent told me it was a 4 star so I presumed it would be a half luxury hotel at least-with a nice Restaurant etc..re: Dinner jacket

Hope you both have a lovely time celebrating your Anniversary but maybe you should have gone to Canada 5 * or France,they have 5 * in Bulgaria too,but I personnally think they only match 3 *.If you feel comfortable take a smart Dress for your special night and get hubby to dress up too,after all it is your Anniversary and I,m sure the Hotel will do their utmost to make it special for you both.Wy not drop them an e-mail in advance and get them to do something special.Good ...
