I know mate.
We had a giggle about this a while back.
It isn't a dog, trust me on this I've seen enough sheep butchered to know what I was eating.
....by the way, it was delicious !

I think you will find that the local tourism reps have opened up a new line of activity. For a few Levs you can hire a weapon and take pot shots at the local dogs. This has 2 benefits.
1. You can sell the meat to a local restaurant so they can create a wonderful meal your girlfriend would appreciate, and

2. you get to give her a real fur coat to keep her warm in her party gear and high heel stilletos.
