I have just returned from bulgaria we stayed in Bansko-a nice resort and good snow conditions.But I am offended in the way which I was charged 5 levs for a hot chocolate- considering in Bulgaria that is the equivalent to 3 hours work ( on the avervage wage)- its disgraceful.
I like Bulgarian people but they are being greedy now-Are the Bulgarians making up for the ex communist rule???
Its a serious question to be asked I think I would prefer to give Swiz/Austrian guys my money-after ...

Good point Josh, only when i was in borovets we were charged 8lev for chockie brandy. beers are 4 lev in the hotels, and a pony and trap ride down the lane from the yestrabets to a back street of borovets was 25lev,Kel

Hmmm perhaps Josh I should repeat here what I have said many times before. Go have a coffee in St Marks square Venice you will fall over at the price or try Paris or a beer in a Hotel in New York. All massively overpriced. It goes on everywhere in the world look at London.
