I will email you for info at some point if you don't mind because I was looking at Jamaica but a lady I work with said "NO NO NO ABSOLUTELY NO". She goes all over for hot hols and usually Barbados, has some friends in St Kitts and thereabouts - she said "fine Kim, go to Jamaica if you want to get mugged, raped, killed" - hmmm!! Apparently it has a really bad slating these days....??? I am not convinced but would love to hear your ...

Was in Jamaica last year, you have to taxi everywhere as no local buses. Our supposedly secure complex had a few thefts, but didn't have any problems personally. Never felt threatened, but we did stay on the complex most of the time. I'd stay away from Kingston. Wouldn't go back - beautiful, but some of locals are really grumpy and the hassle from all the vendors is awful - constant pester. Also, a few did try and cheat you - don't like their own ...
