i was in borovets last week, most of the bars only seemed to take levs, but some places took pounds so i expect those same places take euros. If you have to change them you should get a good rate out there.re: Do they except Euro's?
Hi Gemma,I think your mate will have to change her euros into lev. We found a few places that would take sterling, but not sure if they would accept euros. She will be better off waiting to change them in Bulgaria though, she'll get a better exchange rate.

If you are buying daily things like meals, drinks, cigarettes, etc. then I strongly advise you to use Levs as most of these places will only take local currency.
If you are buying larger items like skis, boots, ski suits, etc. the shop will usually convert the currency you have into what they require......... i.e. something that costs 270 Levs will cost you approx. 100 GBP. If you find that they will not accept it, then just go to your hotel reception or a bank and simply change ...
