Going back about 18 months or so ago ... we went skiing in Bansko and with the economy in the UK still looking rosy I almost got caught up in the buying frenzy. I was very close to purchasing a two bedroomed apartment there.

The party always has to come to an end and thankfully .... sense prevailed and I didn't decide to purchase in Bansko.
With the Credit Crunch really starting to bite and set in with no real light at the end of the tunnel ... my question is ..
Are there many people out there now wishing they hadn't put their hard earned cash into properties in Bansko?
Nice first post Monty Pylon. Doesn't 'Pete De Burgh' post from an AOL account? Let's hope it's a coincidence, as that would be a pretty low comment for a moderator to make seeing as there are many investors that post here that could do without having their noses rubbed in it - not to mention the Bulgaria ski website itself which generates a significant amount of it's income from advertisers and developers. I'm sure they would not be happy about that 'worthless' comment as they are still trying to sell apartments. Perhaps Daniel could check the IP address to confirm?
However, in Pete's defence, I would say, it would be a rare thing for him to miss an opportunity to add to his own post count.
These propertys in bansko aren't £250k you know. A friend of mine paid 45k for a 2 bedroom apartment 4 years ago. 2 minutes away from the gondola with a gym and sauna in the basement. He's in it for the long term and as you may or may not know, things do change in the long term and I don't see how he can loose as much as some people would like him to.
