Hi all,
I just wanted to apologise for any comments I have made about the snow melting that might have caused people to feel a little down.
Just to clarify - I have never had any worries about the amount of snow and have never thought a few days of warmer weather would melt 2m of snow overnight.
My only worry has been that with warmer temps and no snow comes the situation where the slopes are icy in the am, melt to a good condition then melt some more to slush which is then pisted and freezes to ice overnight.
I have also seen the fantastic fresh powder conditions and am simply jealous that I might only be able to enjoy only (!) 2m of base.
So any mention of melting has been slightly tongue in cheek and not meant in a really serious doom and gloom way.
Regardless, I realise that given the once in a blue moon conditions I am simply being a negative, ungrateful fathead and should count my blessings.
So I am truly sorry for any negativity and anyone who sees me from Sunday onwards is free to slap the back of my head for even raising the subject.
