Drinking Water

Hi guys, Im coming to Borovets for the 2nd time on the 7th Jan and have a question regarding the water. Firstly, isit ok for us Brits to drink and if i was to boil it first to make coffee, is that recommended for us? Thanks in advance guys.

Hi Andrew,The drinking water here is absolutely fine - we live here and have never had a problem....and again if you boil it to make coffee that's fine as well!

Hello Andrew,As Kas says the water is fine, been going to Borovets for the last five years and always drink tap water, its usually crystal clear and weve never been ill once with water, just alcohol ha.

its not that there is a problem with their water that makes you ill. its that it is different from here in the UK that can occasionally cause problems. In my opinion buy bottled. it costs next to nothing and i would hate to have a stomach upset whilst skiing.
