i can't imagine it either really but if anyone has been recently and could give their opinion on how bad the dust was i'd be grateful just to put my mind at rest!!
on the same note, is there a medical centre in Bansko?

if it is really bad i'll just have to stay indoors... hmm... what could i do to keep me occupied... Booze hehe!

re: Dust in Bansko

I went last year to Bansko, building work was going on then and my asthma was fine, I always find it improves when I go snowboarding, probably because of the cleaner air, no pollution. I didn't need my inhalers at all when I went to Canada (Maybe I should move there?).

I must admit I do have concerns though after reading the previous posts. Some people's asthma is affected by cold weather though so maybe this is the case and not due to the dust?

re: Dust in Bansko

It's not too dusty there I didn't have any problems. We had to use the services of a doctor for my son who is asthmatic and got a chest infection while he was there. The doctor gave him better advice than he had ever received in the UK. If you want his mobile number I will email it to you. Cost per visit €50

re: Dust in Bansko

glad to hear there are medical centres and 24hr doctor that really puts my mind at rest, i always take stronger inhalers before during and after my holiday as the cold does affect me, i'm sure i'll be fine though, when we were in canada last year i was more affected by altitude sickness than my asthma anyway!!!

dave if you could email the mobile number that would be great Smile
