Now Bulgaria are in the EU does this mean that E111 are accepted?I've still got my annual insurance though my union from my last trip so i'm still well covered! ;-)

yes. ( although there was a standing agreement already in place)there was a few posts regarding this a few weeks back.

FYI we have just returned from pamporovo while we were there one of our party unfortunately needed the doctor, the first thing he asked to see was e111 once he had seen that everything was taken care of for himre: E111 and insurance
