Buy the bubbly in Duty Free! Top of the mountain is probably best bet - as long as Gondola working!Also, you might wanna book a table for dinner, some of the nicer places do get booked up!

Defo at the top of the mountain, my husband proposed to me at the top of Helvelyn in the Lake District. It was amazing, and there was snow!re: ENGAGMENT

Go up the new four man by the Rila, ask somone to show you where 'Georges Hut' is, get on to the top (its a small platform) and ask her there. If she says no push her off seriously its a good alternative is you cant get up the gondola.
