Hi guys...
Sorry to post what is effectively a response to a couple of replies to a much earlier thread, 22/07 `any ideas what should be done'
Greg, thought provoking, i can see your point and accept some of your opinions, i hope i was not being seen as trying to sensationalise the situation, it was more to highlight the rise in fundementalism along with terrorism
that will ultimately effect everybody and what our response should be....

P.P. I also accept your point mate, yes, this is a skiing/boarding forum even in the off season and for that reason should contain on-topic posts or something in the area (jokes etc). I could go on how terrorism effects everybody, even us skiers but i won`t, i personally will try to keep it lighter. I will however be enquiring as to the welfare of who i regard now as my friends that may be effected by any subsequent attacks...
I will definately be leaving the discussions for the pub...
Soooo, on a lighter note, off again to BG 28th Aug, Golden Sands for a week of
in the sunshine. Hopefully
finalise my house purchase at the same time....

Nahhhh, i didn`t feel anyone was having a go at me, we are all entitled to our opinions and to voice them but also to listen to others and appreciate theirs, that was all that i was doing...

Yep,,,, just serviced, plugs, oil, tune-up... £175.00....
Fired up first time Saturday lunchtime, set off out of the river mouth in hideous weather (though it was sunny earlier), got outside the limit bouys, opened her up, settled back and then bang, horrible clanging from inside the engine housing and then nothing. To be honest guys, I tend to agree with Pete's comment - this is not the place to discuss all the bad things that are happening in the world, I'm sure we all have everyones email address's to do this. The board, in my opinion, is fine to ensure mates are ok, but not to disucss the ins and outs of the crap that is going on.Keep it chilled out and happy guys....

Sorry but I don't agree. At this time of year when the board is hardly jam packed with messages I don't see any reason why we can't discuss any topic. At the end of the day if you don't like the subject then just ignore it. If we only discussed skiing now the board would be dead all summer.
Personally speaking chatting with people on July 7 alleviated some of the tension of the day and its always good to get other peoples views on any subject which I believe was all Steve was trying to do ...

Oooooo Neil, i`ve become all moist with anticipation, just look at those babies....
A mate has two 200 hp Merc 4 strokes on the back of his rib but the earlier models, still great engines though.
Personally i`m not a fan of ribs, prefer something with a few more creature comforts, looking for a Bayliner or a small Sunseeker, nothing really glam, have been looking at a Bayliner Capri with a two berth and a 90 Suzuki on the back, that`ll do for mucking about in......
G and T`s on the poop ...
