Hopefully Pete will be coming too. Just waiting to hear from him. Will text him in the next couple of days to see. Not sure about the parking situation yet.

Sorry back on track,

Chanove no1 is a good restaurant too. Prices are creeping up though!

where is Chanove? I'd like some new places to try this year - family friendly ones!
Also we will have a car so would like some recommendations for places to eat within a 15 mins drive of Pamps if anyone has any?

Yes forest.

We went there 3 years ago (4 - 8 adults normally go every feb 1/2 term) with steve d off here.

We arrived and were the only ones in the place, we ordered drinks and when thery arrived the waitress spilt a tray of eight 8 drinks (5 pints and 3 spirits) down 3 of our party 1, being a small child. When we got over that the food came (starters) about an hour later and the main courses (which were wrong) about 2 hours later. On of the adults asked to speak to the manager but ...

When we got over that the food came (starters) about an hour later and the main courses (which were wrong) about 2 hours later. On of the adults asked to speak to the manager but instead of the manager, out came the waitress's husband / partner (and the heavy local mob) who demanded we paid in full and leave. We did so and then went to the hotel reception, at the same time one of the heavy mob came along and although I cannot speak Bulgarian I am sure he told the receptionist "Don't dare phone anyone / hotel manager" she was put in a difficult situation and just shook her head at us basically saying sorry. At this point we just left.

Now thats what I call service.

Chanove is the 1st building on the left before the old police stop point. It is opposite the white house. Chanove no2 is near the white hart and a little more expensive.

Both places will pick you up from you apt/ hotel if you plan to dine there. Will drop you off too later.

re: Eating in Pamporovo

Have to agree with Arron the Chanove is my prefered place to eat, but go into Chepelare some fantastic Local restaurants and lots cheaper than in Pamps
