If the restaurant open in jan, then how do you allready now know its gonna be a 3 star michelin? First the michelin people must visit it to give it a star, if its good enough.
If it really is a good restaurant, then I guess it will cost a lot to eat there.
Hope Im wrong.

Kebab shop then! Wink

The BBq unerneath the Murgavets is good Imo,
The Whitehart is good for pizza/entertainment but was reported last year as getting more expensive.
As it's in the grounds of the Castle we use the restaurant there too. Great food but egven better prices.

It's also possible to ski/snowboard into the Castle off the piste down to Stoudenets 1. I am going to ask if they will give a discount to Bulgaria Ski forum users if they pop in for a beer or hot chocolate.

Perelik Tavern is great food and a good price - IF you like Bulgarian food. Posted this last year but I had a sizzling plate of Chicken and pork cooked in garlic, peppers, onions and sauce, for two for 12 Lev.

Go though the tunnel between Mougevets and the hotel to the right (sorry can't remember) and Its down a corridor there. Kind of decked out with Snugs made of barrels, snazzy knitted tablecloths and various critters on the wall Razz Also places like the Dagmar bit of walk from the ...

Great Pizza's think they were about 5 lev. You can still get a bargain in Pamps Booze

Tried the newish restaurant across from Mougevets next to the White Hart - White House 2? . Dire - 25 lev for a casserole type dish for one. Packed as well for some reason Question

There's a smashing restaurant set down a flight of stairs on the other side of the road from the Perelik. "Evrika" or something like that - really friendly and food great. If you look around there are cheaper places just as good as the ones that you see straight away.
There's a bulgarian restaurant downstairs in Snezhanka (by the entrance to the swimming pool) which we also loved - they spoke excellent english and came up with ideas for dishes for the children - looked after us very well - ...

re: Eating in Pamporovo

I tend to stay away from the really tourist ones such as the white hart, white horse etc. Last year I found the DanMar and the one across the road from it owned by the fat man to be excellent. Food was freshley cooked and service was excellent plus the prices much better than the busy tourist restraunts. I have to say this is one of the reasons I return to Pamps great food and lovely people with the exception of the taxi drivers.
