Reg if you want to eat the same things as anythere allover the world go in these restaurants. They are rented from the same guys running the restaurants at the beach side to. You can't make anything wrong, all they do is for you as tourist...
So 95% of these restaurants you all told him are only working for you in the winter season starts working around mid of december.
If you want to try some real bulgarian from the people they own the house you eat ...

If you want to try some real bulgarian from the people they own the house you eat and drink and live there all over the year and work it, try the Snackbar Elite for a short stop, all the meat dishes are make before your eyes on the open fire of the kamin. For another bulgarian typical bulgarian evening, with bulgarian dishes and drinks try the Skylark, down on the road on the way to the Hotel Edelweis and Bor... Expensivest evening I had there in december was 17 lev for 3 course, hot rakias, water and wine.
And try the hot rakia in both and the home made wine in the Elite, if you want to see some more from Bulgaria....

One eating place thats not been mentioned is the restaraunt in the Hotel Alpin. The food is excellent and the choice is unbelievable and as everywhere in Bulgaria it is CHEAP.Sharky
