Bulgaria Ski discussion board

i do not been to be a spoil sport in anyway nor do i wish to take away from the plight of thoes involved with helping the children.
but i have to make a point, my understanding is that this is a bulgaria ski information site ,each time i come on to the site i find more and more info about the orphanage. i want info on skiing.
it may be of use for the admin team to set up a link for the orphanage website . so that skiing information and orphanage info can be kepy seperate.
sorry in advance to thoes that may be upset by this message and i would like to repoint out that i am not wanting to take away from ur cause

Philip you raise an interesting point. Pete and I are Admins and have no control over setting up different parts of the website, only what happens on the forum. Maybe we could suggest a link to info about the Orphange Pete?

I understand that you get frustrated at seeing the topic raised quite a bit this year, I guess it is a subject many people feel passionate about. But due to the format of this site I.e no collaspable or sticky threads it gets repeated.

Now as this is an open forum and all well behaved people are welcome, neither Pete nor I would delete such a posting(I know that is not what you are suggesting) So a bit of a catch 22 I suppose?

I will answer this question shortly and bluntly.

This board is for general use by all who wish to use it. Provided posters keep within certain guidelines of common decency and do not try to use it as a marketing tool - then I am happy to allow all subjects.

philipf, if you want information on skiing then ask for it. Almost every question posted on here get a reply and hopefully all questions are answered.

I started the Orphanage appeal almost a year ago on the SkiDVD site and it has progressed to this site following the TV programme that highlighted the childrens plight.

Rather than sitting at home in luxury and belly-aching about what you are reading, try putting your hand in your pocket and help the poor kids that have no life, no future and can only dream of what we have and take for granted.

I am deeply shocked that ANYBODY should find it appropriate to complain about something as worthwhile as trying to give back a little love to Bulgaria after we have gained so much from it.

Well said Pete, having been out to Pamps and met Amanda I can honestly say that this is a worthy cause and without Amanda's posts on this site I wouldn't have given the orphanage a second thought, so well done Amanda for everything you do and if you prick our consciouses just a little then that's no bad thing. Shame to see that Scrooge is alive and kicking in this day and age.

We all have the right to choose what we look at and I for one want to see these posts, if there is something I am not interested in then I will exercise my right to ignore those posts.
