re: FAO orphanage donators

So, are you accusing me of anything Jo? (or Jeffrey) If so out with it then we can perhaps reach the bottom of your 'concern'. Andie has every penny logged from every person that sent me money, and if you have been following this as closely as you make out you have then you will be aware that she can confirm EVERY PENNY that was sent by ANYONE was received by her - as too can the Solicitors in Sofia. If you would kindly tell me what name you sent the money to me under then I will contact ...

I got involved because I was asked to - I did not voulenteer this - I was asked to help - and I agreed because the poor kids needed help - is that a crime???

If you want to let me know what money you sent I will send you the money back PERSONALLY as you obviously do not trust me - despite having never met me.

This is what I have to put up with because I tried to help somebody!

I await your scathing reply to my offer - which is sure to come.

re: FAO orphanage donators

I want to make it clear that I am not the Jo that has posted previously on this thread. This Jo FULLYsupports & trusts Andie & Carole, whatever happened between them and Amanda is their business. I'm sure their only concern is for the children in the orphanage, and, for what it's worth although I have never met you I think you are a man with a heart of gold PP. You all gave up loads of your freetime and worked so hard. I think its unfair to have it all thrown back in your face now.

Thank you Jo - that's really nice of you, but I'm really confused now (which isn't difficult) Wink

Maybe, and to involve confusion you could perhaps alter your log in name? As you are from the NHS pehaps Nurse Jo would be a good'un Razz

I'm sure you will come up with a gud'un Wink

re: FAO orphanage donators

I gather that there are now NO plans to close the institute at Stoikite. This was not mentioned in the recent e-mail and could affect the decision that people make as to the distribution of funds.
Whilst I acknowledge that you are not playing a future role in supporting the orphanage, Andie, I wonder if you have any information you could share with us about the future plans for the building/children?

re: FAO orphanage donators

Sorry Missizippi, I am unsure where you got this information but in a recent conversation with Doug, Amanda's partner, he told me that ""As far as we are concerned the orphanage with definitely remain open until next Spring but, as in other years, we could apply for an extension and it may be granted""

It was for this reason it was not mentioned in the email as nothing has been confirmed about the closure one way or another. A further option was included to give the children the benefit ...

It was for this reason it was not mentioned in the email as nothing has been confirmed about the closure one way or another. A further option was included to give the children the benefit of heating and hot water, albeit for this winter only.

If this had been the case and the orphanage was to remain open indefinitely we would NOT have taken this to another vote but simply handed the whole amount over to the Stoikite Orphanage.
