does ant one know were this flight is? left gatwick north this pm at approx 15.35 ans can not land at destination. has gone else were were they are to be put up over night. how can i find out were it is?worried mum

From previous experience they fly into greece. Our friends ended up in Thessaloniki or Thessalonika last year, they ended up about 24hrs late. If you ring the airline they should be able to update you or maybe the website. Don't worry though they will be safe. Good luckre: FLIGHT TOM5703
There will be a thomson representative at Gatwick Airport, if you call the airport they will be able to tell you. If you dont have any luck as sometimes it is difficult to get through, try teh thomson resort office in bulgaria, they shoudl have a number on the net, this will have an out of hours emergeny number that you can call.(I used to work for Thomsons)

I believe that this flight landed in varna and is waiting clearance to fly to Sofia in the morning after 6am, the conditions are very bad in Sofia and it is not safeto land at present, Doug has just driven to Sofia, the snow is quite bad and the roads conditions are dire, there have been several road accidents this evening from Plovdiv to Sofia no fatalities or severe injuries thank goodness. I hope that everyone is being looked after in Varna and hopefully the conditions will improve in the ...

There is no need to worry it is just the weather conditions at Sofia airport are not safe to land and it is best to be safe than sorry

I am one of the unlucky ones stuck at varna. We originally flew to Sofia and was told we could land in half an hour. 50 mins later we arrive at varna for refueling. During the next 5 hours of siting on the plane (around 3 of those without drinks/food) we were told that we were waiting for the all clear. Nobody on board really knew what was going on. We finally made it to the baggage area and had a 2ish hour wait for our bags and then roughly the same again for a coach to show. We have not ...
