Fake Branded Cigarettes

Some friends returned from Pamporovo last week and very kindly brought me back 200 Lambert & Butler cigarettes. As expected, they are fake cigarettes imported from Poland (as 99% of all branded fags in Bulgaria are) and whilst all fags are bad these are simply dreadful.
They are easy to spot if you are a smoker, the genuine ones have a holographic pack that sparkle and show the colours of the rainbow. The fakes have a dull packet with no such hologram.

bought 200 Silk Cuts in the supermarket in Pamps, im not sure if there fake or not ??surely a supermarket would'nt sell fakes ? would they ?

I bought 200 lambert and butler in the supermarket next to the Flora hotel in borovets for 33 levs. They have bulgarian writing on them and they have the hologram.re: Fake Branded Cigarettes
I have been saying this for years, only in the duty free at airport are genuine. Three years ago I bought at the request ofImperial Tobacco, two packs of 20 S/Kings from two different outlets and sent to them. I had a 100 genuine ones sent and a letter stating, the ones bought were dangerous, 10 times more than genuine fags. If you are going to get rolling tobacco, a little clue, take your empty wrapper be it G/Virginia orO/Holborn check the colour of rapper fake packets are a lot darker. ...

I normally post on the warm site but found tis topic interesting. I smoke royals and cant get them in BG so I smoke West (red packet) and they are ok. My sister rolls her own and we were told to buy Golden Virginia at the supermarket as it was genuine, we did and it was not, this was in Sunny Beach last year.JJ

When we came through Nothing To Declare at Gatwick on Saturday we were stopped and asked if we had bought cigarettes in Bulgaria.We said no, and were allowed on through, but the people behind me were also asked, I heard them say yes, and they were held back.
So obviously the airport authorities are aware of these fake fags.
