Family rated

I really enjoyed taking my son (14) and his friend to Borovets to snowboard last winter. The only problem was the excessive amount of porn thrust (literally) into your face. Is there any family oriented ski resort in Bulgaria?

Bansko! Never came across anything like that there. Can't say that it definitely does not go on of course but in the parts I was in I did not see anything.

Anyway in general I think Bansko is a fab resort so if you want a change and to see a different resort to where you have already been, check it out!

re: Family rated

Hi anne
Pamporovo is also family rated, Borovets is quite tacky compared.

re: Family rated

Yep sure Anne wants to hear that Bret. Anne Pamps is more family friendly i.e no go go bars yet, or indeed Bansko.

re: Family rated

Hi,

Been to both pamporovo and borovets.

Pamporovo is much smaller, but more familly orietated. Most of the evening entertainment, bars, club and resturants etc are located in the hotels. So no endless streets of stripclubs! But it is better suited to beginers. So if your past that stage, perhaps take others advice and try Bansko.

re: Family rated

Go to Bansko. You will love it and there will be none of that seediness either.

Very Happy

re: Family rated

Thank you all for comments. I think I might check out Bansko.

I feel I must point out that I am the most liberal person I know; but tacky clubs full of dodgy security guards and trafficed women don't really really fit in with the beautiful scenery. But don't let me get started on the economic conditions under which eastern european women struggle.
