Just wanted to say, I have just returned from Pamporovo, and all those who have not a good word to say on the resort must have been to a different place!! I had a blast - fantastic ski instructor, lovely scenery, really enjoyed the skiing, snow, reasonably priced beer etc etc etc.Hoping to return later on this season in fact!

Hi JMW!I'm going there next week. What is snow conditions in Pamporovo? Where would you recommend to book ski pass and ski equipment: in Pamporovo or here online? Thanks!

Book your ski hire and lift pass on line or with your tour operator. It is quite expeensive in resort. A guy told us he paid 50 lev just for instruction and that was only a few weeks ago. I booked another trip last night with inghams and only paid £199 for a week half board and then £120 for ski hire, pass etc. So I would say on line every time The old master of this site Mr Pamporovo Pete will confirm.. Easier to book through your tour operator than on line, plus you will get the best deal with them as they buy in bulk. Very few tour operators (if any) though will sell you just the ski packs if you haven't actually booked your holiday with them.
