I believe the night life is as lively as you like but as for footwear / clothing?? is it just warm casual? Have heard the streets pretty slippy and with 20kg luggage allowance really need to pack sensibly.. any advice welcome.. places to go / not to go! Eat etc! Staying at the Samokov.. any tips??
Thanks In Advance!! Cant wait ...

Wouldn't worry about what you wear as its better to be warm and happy than cold and miserable.........
Night life is pretty busy in boro lots of bars that are pretty much open until the last people leave
im arriving on 22nd and meeting some friends from uk there so im sure will bump into you at some point, check roll calls on the forum for the forum meet.......
Thanks for the advice! Winter jumpers it is!! Bars sound good and the reviews on here have been fab... just counting the sleeps now... can't wait!! Just hope i can ski!!
No! You'll roast in jumpers at night. Ski jacket on over a light t-shirt or top as it's usually boiling in most of the bars. They're packed and many have an open fire.
Remember, last night's t-shirt can be next morning's base layer for the mountain (as long as it doesn't get food/beer down it) so you don't need to pack as much as you think.
If it's a first time for a lot of you, and you're hiring, have a look at this
Definitly t shirts for evenings and flat boots with some tread - you are more likely to be injured slipping over after a few drinks than on the slopes (speaking from personal experience !) Leave the high heels to the locals and the ladies of the night......
