I had a few power cuts last christmas only lasted a few mins though except on the last day when snow falling off our hotel roof took the power out and through out the day it kept coming on and going off, had non in bansko though.
the bathroom in our hotel smelt a bit fusty but was 1st week of the season after a few days it went away.

ski school is the best, My husband has been skiing for 32 years, (No hes not realy old just learnt realy young.) and hes been all over skiing but since going to bansko last year if anyone asks where to learn he says bulgeria is the best hes seen, also a lot of my friends advice bulgeria for learning even though they are ski snobs, has a very good reputation for its ski school, all instructors speak very good english which is an added bonus.

dont drink in an avalanch
no you wont have any snow take your beach wear.
and money is US dollars does no one listen
