Fenella,

Welcome to the site and you are correct we are all nice.

The Kempinski ( Camp 'n' ski) is a fine hotel and yes is a bit expensive in the bars. I have stayed there and would fully recommend it. Having said that you normally only get B & B there on package deals the breakfast is fantastic. The restaurants in the town are not to be missed and are only about 5 mins walk away. You sound well suited to the ski runs, there are no green runs there as previously stated. The blues can be gentle but do have some tricky bits in places to keep you on your toes.

The hotel opposite the Lions Pub is the Strazhite and is well situated ( in between the gondola and the town) but not a patch on the Kempinski. If cash is not a problem go for Camp 'n' ski.

That is true, I'm watching the webcam & waiting for snow. Will it be snowy all the way the the bottom at the end of January, being able to ski all the way back to the hotel on an evening sounds fab.

You've all been really helpful, thanks
