Snow Plough, You've been there 10 times but haven't seen anything? I can't take that comment seriously. There's one on the road with the exchange bureaus. I remember seeing at least one on the road infront the Flora Hotel. Walking down the road where the donkeys/horses congregate, towards the Rila there's another one left hand side, may have been more but wasn't looking for them.
As Caz alluded to, they're as discrete as possible certainly not some Amsterdam window display.

On a general note, some of the negative reports are written by people paying 2/3 star prices then complaining because they didn't get a 5 star service. Numpties imo.
I liked Boro though I realise it doesn't suite everyone's outlook on life so that's why I posted my question to the OP.
There are strip clubs and prostitues in most town what is the point. I am sure Marc dosn't keep his wife and child locked up at home. you will have a good time but don't be shocked when your daughter is skiing far better than you at the end of your hols.
sorry just a wind-up. These places were prevelant many years ago, you only had to look sidewaays in the Rila and get proped. The resort has cleaned up it's act to a point and parents should feel safe in bringing their children here. I have met many families who have brought their children and they don't feel threatened walking the main streets at night.
P.S Iv've got my minders to look after me. dbut & Paul0.
Thanks for your comments all, weve been to Sunny Beach so we are well aware of the Bulgaria vibe, but your comments are appreciated and gave us all a giggle. We have signed up for lessions but are all impatient and only there for a week. I imagine we will learn the basics then venture off on our own.
Take what Snowplough says with a pinch of Salt. It takes me all my time to keep him out of the places when we are there. Hes always the one the girls make a bee line for when were walking up the street. I think he knows them all by name.
Hi SP . did you have a good hols.
dbut
stick with the lessons, dont do too much 'venturing off' on your own, thats when trouble starts, any decent instructor will keep you in your comfort zone, when you go off on your own you can soon get onto runs that are too much for your standard. For a first week youll most probably be knackered anyway, as ski lessons tend to last most of the day!! enjoy! we are there till the 30th, so you may see our kids buzzing past!!!
