Have been told by Balkan that our flight on 13th March Manchester is now to change to east Midlands on 12th almost an extra 100 miles each way OR Newcastle on 13th which is over 150 miles EW. Plus stop off in Bristol on return leg means extra 90 minutes to flight time. Offered £30 compensation per head so that was fair enough. Then told free child place booked October not now available so will have to pay extra for the trip. So 200 miles extra road travel car parking plus extended flight ...

Much to my regret will cancel and put funds towards summer holidays. None of this my fault but expected by travel agents to pay for it. Reckon they are on the same wave-lenght as the ConLibs.
Been there on a summer holiday should of flow from bristol and got changed to manchester was not impressed but apparently they can do it. We had parking charges petrol and everything but wasnt given much notice so had to go with it!!
I would even suggest it's more sinister than that. Balkan show flights from most of the local airports only to cancel them when it's too late for people to change their plans and move them to the larger airports. It happens every year - summer and winter and often they move hotel destinations reporting them as being 'overbooked'.
Should never happen in this day and age - but they get away with it year after year. Never seems to happen with Crystal!
No - but I DO expect them to offer flights that they intend to run - not cancel loads every single year as they have done for as long as I can remember - THAT'S FACTS! Last year we were diverted from Bristol to Gatwick and were told we were the only 2 passengers booked on the Bristol flight! That's obviously very very bad management and sales performance at best - sinister at worst.
Or do you have a better explaination why they do this EVERY year and other companies don't?
Give PP a break. The facts speak for themselves. Surely it's enough to agree with the gist of the point he is making without nit-picking over the exact words he uses. (Some people have way too much time on their hands, ditch the dictionary and get a life!).
