Just had my flight times changed but only by an hour and a bit and still the same airport.Flying from Humberside to Plovdiv on 15 Jan 06.
Last year had to fly up to Newcastle to pick the Geordies up. Anyone up there in Geordie land had their flight times changed as well

Just received my tickets for 23rd Pamporovo flying from Birmingham now to be told our flight home will go via Cardiff.
We booked with Balkan back in April not only our flights are not direct we have had to change hotel 8 months after booking due to the hotel being over booked, which we have found pretty unbelievable.
Went with Thomson in March and never had any problems.
Unfortunatly already booked for Feb 2006 with Balkan.
Anyway you can't fault Bulgaria we have always had great fun ...

IM A GEORDIE MATE.AND FLY OUT ON 23RD OF JAN.GOT A LETTER FROM BALKAN SAYING MY FLIGHT TIMES HAVE CHANGED,BUT WHEN I LOOKED AT THE ORIGINAL TIMES THEY WERE EXACTLY THE SAME..HOPE THEY HAVENT MESSED UP...re: Flight times
HiIf look back through old postings, you'll notice flight changes from northern airports are not uncommon for Balkan!

flying from Newcastle 5th Feb 1 hour later going out which means fly out at 3pm but get back at Newcastle at 11am following week, looks as if we are not picking up anywhere else but means last night a killer now as will be on a 5.30 ish pick up

Balkan look to be really doing their name the world of good! We have had our flight put back on 30/12/05 into pamps arriving now at around midnight.... approx 4-5 hours later than we were expecting. We also fly back to gatwick earlier now and also have a 5.00am departure from resort- can't wait for that!re: Flight times
I don't know about the brochures but I saw on their late offers area last night that they were advising people of this rather strange detour. I would have thought that it would make more sense to either fly from Cardiff to Brum or send the Cardiff passengers to Bristol or make the buggers drive to Birmingham.That would make a change :- loads of Welsh in Birmingham instead of the other way round.

I fly out with a friend on the same day, but on the way back we get the detour to drop u lot off!!!!
