Is it possile to get flights only into Plovdiv and from where, or is it package holidays only?
The transfer time from Sofia does my head in and now I have an apt in Pamps I am looking to get out there alot more. Any info relating to Plovdiv airport would be good

Cheers

re: Flights to Plovdiv

Sorry mate, as far as I'm aware Plovdiv is closed to all commercial flights during the summer.

re: Flights to Plovdiv

I am sure Ryanair is flying from the UK to Plodiv from August 2007. Anyone else read that information?

re: Flights to Plovdiv

I read that somewhere too. I'm hoping it's true as my mother lives around 2 hours from Plovdiv - 4 hours from Sofia. I was hoping to visit her again this year, but the transfer from sofia is a nightmare! The flight prices also seem to have risen from last year Sad

Hopefully Ryanair will start flying and then I can benefit from both cheaper flights, and shorter transfer times Very Happy
