Hey there,Flew BA this half term, £700 return from Heathrow for 4 of us including 23kilos luggage each, plus 2 pieces of hand luggage, fab flight times, meals all drinks and they treat you nicely. Booked again for 2012 already, but hurry, they're going up in price!

mmm heathrow ughh ... just checked for sat to sat half term week ... £1435 for 3 of us ... sun to sun £760 ... £484 for the week b4 ... think i'll stick to squeezyjet!(paid £260 this year)

paid £168 for 3 separate trips this year.. cant forget em at that price. i can suffer having 3kg less

Easy jet only bring out their flights 6 months ahead, so if you're a planner it's no good. I compared the total all in price last year and EJ was the same as BA Monday to Monday. True the weekends are ridiculous. I still think you won't do much better than £180 return all in at half term this Feb, especially with the price of oil on the rapid increase.

I booked in May last year for this Feb ... so 9 months in advance ... maybe because seats had been on sale for 3 months thats why BA & Easyjet were comparable if you booked 6 months before flying? I think thet release the whole winter schedule in one hit now whereas in previous years it had been dripfed into the system (I hve experience of this being the case in the summer)
Plus I loathe Heathrow with a passion! If I could get a flight from Stansted I would be over the moon but i'll take ...

Hi Billy, you can get a Ryanair flight from Stansted into Plovdiv. I don't know where you are staying but it is absolutely ideal for Pamporovo - transfer time now just under 2 hours whereas from Sofia about 3.5.re: Fly BA, forget the cheapies!
Thanks Andie ... but not so good for Boro!And the last time I sneezed on Ryanair I got charged €5 for a tissue!
