I stayed in samokov last year sophi, have you guys tried the restaurant on the top floor? It's a £9 supplement if half board, but silver service 3 course meal with steak or fish choices if you like and views right across the floodlit slopes. Was one of the best meals I've had in Boro!! I'm in Iglika but will check to see if open to non residents this year too?

Will do Kim, I went there on my last night with Jeff and Monty and it was really nice having a proper sit down meal. Bit more relaxing than the norm in Boro. I've emailed the Samokov and asked whether its open to non residents and for a menu.
