Hi
We're in Borovets from 15th March - 8 of us - 4 adults, 4 kids / babies, staying at the Rila.
Can NOT wait!!!
Nightlife won't be high on the agenda this year, but say high if you see a pram being pushed around tho.
My last experience of Bulgaria was in Pamps over 20 yrs ago on a trip from school - was 14/15 at the time.

A couple of hotel staff (guys) came into our room on the pretext of changing a light bulb - which were all working. They then started pointing to our stuff like trainers and coats and asking how much we wanted for them. All done in a very friendly way though and we had a bit of a laugh with them actually.
Guess that sort of thing doesn't happen any more, but hope the locals are still as friendly.

Hi Michael
If you're flying from Manchester with Thomson you won't be able to miss us (although you'll probably try - my kids are too noisy). Then again, as it's Easter week I doubt I'll be the only one with noisy kids.
I'll apologise now for a less than peaceful flight.

Make sure your instructor knows you have booked with Thomsons and you only get 3 days. We did that last year and the others in our group had booked with Crystal and get 6 days with their package. He was fantastic and said that's no good, you know where we rae on the mountain every day though, and carried on giving us lessons for the full 6 days. But at least if he knows at the beginning and can't carry on giving you lessons he will speed up the lessons you do have so you will be ok on your own.
