Just a quick note, my husband is allergic to nuts, fish and chicken, would he be able to eat!! Are there any pizza or fast food resturants, that serve basic english food, and are the chefs all Bulgairan, as I dont fancy a trip to the local Hospital. Also can we bring food into the country, such as Mars bars, pot noodles etc.
Any way we cant wait to hit the slopes, hope its quiet at the end of Feb, early March!!.
Thank you for your help.
He will not want to eat in the Rila Hotel as that covers the menu, saying that the food is terrible anyway ,as to pot noodles take loads, there are plenty of good places to eat enjoy your trip
Bringing food to Bulgaria should not be a problem. In any case you can by any kind of snack bar here anyway.
Most places have basic home cooked food so you can quite easily identify what is in it.
Of cause it depends if he is allegic to traces of those items, it may be difficult.
Other than that you can find pizza, pork, veal, potatoes, Chinese restaurants and indeed typical English fare including english breakfasts in many places.

Poor thing. We went for a week last Christmas to Pamps and found most of the food freshly made and very little of it processed and there was plenty of choice. Speak to your rep for local advice. Have a great time. Sarah
