Hi Everyone,I`m interested in some comments and feedback,
I had an unsolicited phone call from a company in UK about buying my apartment in bansko.
naturally I`m a bit weary of the whole thing,they said Britannia gave them my details,and yet they didnt know where my place was,town or development !!!

be cautious of anyone who ask for money upfront. A few months ago there was somebody calling people who have apartments listed on holiday lettings. they claimed to have a waiting list of clients for bulgarian property. Guess what all you had to was pay 900 euro registration fee up front.re: Fractional Ownership
its worth trying to find out where they have got your details from, bulgaria is in the EU and is covered by the same data protection laws as the UK, paaing on your into without your agree is against the law. Take a note of the company it is worth pursuing.re: Fractional Ownership

I had a missed call a number of weeks back from a UK number (free for me to call) and as I was sat in a traffic jam called back on the bluetooth.
Asked who they were and said I had a missed call. They said do you have any property in Bulagria - to which I said not going to answer that, but then added if someone did and you cold called them what would it have been about? "Were agents and want to buy the property".
I thn replied saying well If I did have and your such an eager buyer I ...

Its much the same with timeshare resale companies. Follow that golden rule - if something looks too good to be true then it probably is.re: Fractional Ownership

Do not do anything with these companys,i have been stung for £1000 more or less.Basically i have a share in a holiday club anyway the original ownership was being taken over by another group,i was asked if i wanted to keep my share or sell it,i ticked the box to say that i`d be interested in selling it ( never thought i`d shift it it really) anyway about 2 weeks later i get a call from a companys based in spain,basically they said they has a buyer for my share for a figure of £7000 the ...

Do not do anything with these companys,i have been stung for £1000 more or less.Basically i have a share in a holiday club anyway the original ownership was being taken over by another group,i was asked if i wanted to keep my share or sell it,i ticked the box to say that i`d be interested in selling it ( never thought i`d shift it it really) anyway about 2 weeks later i get a call from a companys based in spain,basically they said they has a buyer for my share for a figure of £7000 the only thing was i had to stamp up £1000,he said this fee come from the buyer and the seller,he assuered me that the fee was there to stop me pulling out of the deal and the buyer,i told him to ring me back as i wanted to check his details etc,it all looked good so i did the deal,he said it would take 12 wks approx.Anyway i waited and waited and made calls and was told the money would be with us soon but just as the final week came we got an email saying they had gone bust !!! and we could get our money back as we had payed via credit card and could claim under section 75 but my bank were not having any of this even after i had told them i was going to take them to court for not honouring the section 75 agreement.I and a number of people got stung for some money ...so take heed
I also did a silly thing i bought a car on my credit card for £5000 as i thought i`d have the money in my account to clear it.....so this little scam actually cost me around £7000

Many thanks for your feedback,Couldnt get hold of Britannia!!!!
Thay wanted me to stump up 1400 Euros up front even as they have 8 buyers with cash ready to go,!!!
They still want money up front.
The high offer I was expecting,surprisingly didnt materialise,just 5,000 euros more than I paid !!!

It's all corrupt! Any serious buyer out there needs to have their wits about them to avoid the con!Good luck.
