Hi Again,
Can you tell me one more thing?

Hi Daniel,
But the snow and the pistes are better in Andorra , no?
Do you think that we can have snow and good weather to make ski in the last week of February? In Borovets, the prices we have is 890 €uros one week in Borovets but the ski lesson are not included!!!!!
The price seems high. I am not sure, because I didn't organise the trip, but I am sure we paid FULL price - about 500 GBP (approx 715 EURO). That included flights, half board accom and FULL ski packs (lifts and lessons). I have seen prices for nearly half of this for last minute bookings. That's Pamporova, but Borovets is similar.
There were plenty of beginner slopes in borovets, all were easy to get to. Our instructer told us that the snow conditions are best at around the middle to end of february, so enjoy.
I havnt been to Andorra but did have been to Austria and Sweden. This year i found this web site. It tells you the snowfall in each resort for the since 1999.

That should hopefully put your mind to rest about snow.
Barbara, You cant go wrong with Borovets really, the important thing is that there is a good foundation of snow, you now have that as there seems to be about 100cm of snow. This will now last well in to march. As for snow enough is enough, ive been skiing all over europe, though i must admit not andorra, cant stand long transfer times, and with the exception of two years ago, ive found the snow in Borovets to be more than adequate. Cant help you on the price though, sounds like its very expensive from your end, weve ended up in the Samakov for £440 including ski pack lessons/pass etc. Id just add that the best steak ive EVER had anywhere, including south african and american, was in Borovets, but then they dont inject their cows with all the junk the rest of us do. My personal recomendation would be go to Borovets, stay in either the samakov or rila, and be prepared to eat out, because its not only the differant food but the atmosphere is much much better in the outside restaurants. Hope this helps
