Fundraising idea!!

I have spoken to an embroiderer that i deal with at work and he has said that we can get Wooley/Beanie hats made and embroided for £1.75 each, 1 off set up cost £45.00 approx. I could see there being a profit in this, what does everyone else think?
He has also donated a load of t-shirts, scarves and hats that are left over from footie prom's. Might have crap teams on them but hopefully the kids won't know unless Amanda tells them!!!!

With regard to the Footy kit - I don't think it matters what names it has on it, if it is PE kit. I would think the names were more important on a fashion top. But then.... I haven't been a teenager for many years now!
I think that the beanie hats would work well, minimal postage costs, useful, pack small and would be visable on cold days. Sold for a £5 each, they would be half the price thats in the shops (shocking), and would make a nice gift too. If there is another ski-a thong next ...

My feedback, for what it's worth.I think hats for next season, to go with the t-shirts. Kids are very cued up on teams and fashion conscious nowadays.
Not sure about summer caps - how many here go in the summer?
I think people are waiting more for a container lorry.

Never miss my Sunny Beach Summer - it's the best
Can't see too many wanting the summer hats - but winter hats would be a super idea.

Debbie, I'll bring my handy scrap of paper into work tomorrow (or do it tonight) and I'll email you with what I got back from Mum's uniform man.
