i know this is more of a topic for the summer site but I have posted it here as this is where it all started. Don't know if you think this is a good idea or not but how about we all take out/leave our summer novels at a central point in Sunny Beach (The Happy Duck if the owners are in agreement perhaps) and have an honesty box where people can leave a couple of quid in exchange for a book. i have got absolutely loads of books i could take out and i know that English books are v expensive ...

Any ideas anybody or suggestions as to who could offer a location for this? (Last year i was so desperate I ended up reading a (no offence) what i would call an old womans book that somebody gave me. The proceeds of the books could then be passed on to the orphanage.

Great idea Nicky - except the Happy Duck won't be there this year. Steve and Costa have moved on to a new place (to be announced) and I'll let you know about that as soon as I have more details.Pete

I would suggest to try some of the hotel receptions - Kuban, Iberostar, Globus, Victoria Palace, etc... maybe some of the reps could sound them out.Pete

I am gutted Pete - please email me, We are going out in 7 weeks and I have to know more details, what about the staff??What are we going to do? Has Costa still got his other restaurants?
About the fundraising - I suggested on the other side that maybe Balkans head office could collect stuff for the orphanage, I can have a word with Darren the Manager when we go.

Diana will be working in Scandals - Costa will be opening a new bar/resturant further south in S Beach (I'll let you know where ASAP.)Pete

Balkan have 2 offices, 1 in Globus and 1 in Pomorie. I am sure they will agree to help
