Glasgow flights cancelled with Balkan.

Hi everyone.

Glasgow flight cancelled coming back on the 16th March, having to come back to Newcastle.

Still it ruin the holiday, we will go out now from Newcastle rather Glasgow.

£20 compensation from Balkan.

6 weeks on Sunday, can't wait top sample Bobbys Indian,

We are flying from Manchester, return flight going home via Newcastle now!! Looks like they've put us all on one flight home!

lol- lets hope it goes smoother than our flight back via Manchester to Newcastle- they had Manchester folk flying out, booked into many of the seats allready occupied by those returning to Newcastle! There was chaos on board with arguments etc etc and stewards didnt have a clue what to do! In the end, folk were simply told "just sit anywhere and we will sort it out at Newcastle!"

To be honest, as long as i get there i don't mind. This year i am taking my 8 year old time for Scarlett to ski. Usually there is as many as 15 of us, this year 6.

Hilly how you getting back from Newcastle. The funny thing is we have to travel past Glasgow to Newcastle on the way out then the flight goes from Newcastle unto Glasgow to pick people up. Its a shambles.

Never mind the snows on its way and March will be the best..

Flown with Balkan since 1995, and they are chaotic. Flown from Manchester and Edinburgh before, and usually pick up/ drop off somewhere else en route, and seat allocations never work when getting back on board with massive confusion!!! Just go with the flow and don't let it bother you and you'll be fine!

lol- yeah! It was the families with small kids being split up I felt sorry for- stewards just said "did you pre book seats together? No- well dont complain!"

Flight is dropping passengers off at Newcastle, then continuing to Manchester. Like you said, its on the way home. As long as we get there ok. Balkan have said 1 hour turn around at Newcastle so presuming we wont even get off the plane.

I'm taking my 17 year old daughter and 2 other friends I met in Boro a couple of years ago. We are also meeting more friends that fly out the day before. Sound be about 6 of us too.

I wouldn't be too sure about not getting off at Newcastle. We flew back to Edinburgh via Newcastle last year and it was everyone off at Newcastle and through passport control, security and customs Be careful on the way back as your duty free will be checked and watched one irate passeger have three bottles of "Flirt" confiscated as it wasn't in a sealed bag.

Yeah- coming back to Newcastle Via Manchester- we had to go all around the airport via security again and anything opened was being confistgated as duty free etc.
apparently if you are the flight coming back into UK then you have to get off and do security again!
